Hand Made Repurposed Ukulele Bird House (02)
Up for sale we have a something unique for you and a great gift idea! This Ukulele came in and was unfortunately unplayable, we like to save as many instruments as we can and repurpose when if possible. We had an artisan from West Virginia turn this beautiful Ukulele body into something special. He repurposed it into a beautiful Bird House that can either be function for a bird family or it can be a conversation mantle piece that is unique.
This Ukulele House is made from a Mahogany body that is a dark brown stain and was fitted with a wood roof and a smaller wooden base. A piece of the fretboard was used to make a step for the little bird and it also has a dowel sticking out in the front for perching. One side of the roof has some light milling marks and there are some slight imperfections from being a hand made item but it does not detract from the beauty. We hope you like these!
